I'd originally written an entry to type up, but it was an absolute beast and had some semi-private information that I really shouldn't let exist physically let alone put on the interwebs, so I'm just writing this on the fly. It'll probably be pretty short.
So, after I came back to the room last night and took a shower, I came out to Emily still awake in her bed. I was afraid I'd woken her up, but it turned out she simply wasn't tired... and I wasn't all that tired, either, so we stayed up and talked for 2 or 3 hours.
It was a really fantastic conversation -- I'm really glad we had it. I don't think Emily's ever talked so candidly to me, and I really learned a lot about her. I think it was really good for our friendship and understanding each other, and perhaps for Emily to further understand herself. We talked about all manner of things, from relationships to how cute the wallpaper in our room is. I don't know how late we went to bed, but it was pretty ridiculous.
Then we woke up at 7 to a wakeup call, as usual. Emily actually asked me if I would wake up so she could roll over, but I was so tired that we both ended up falling back asleep. Thankfully it was only for an hour, and then I forced myself up and woke her a few minutes later.
Breakfast was nothing fantastic, but I did manage to snag a grapefruit, which I enjoyed thoroughly. We sat with Freddy and Gordon again, but nothing much interesting happened.
Then, we began our activity of the day. Touring the Ring of Kerry. I'd been under the impression that it was a real place rather than sort of... an area. Really, what we ended up doing the whole time was driving around to see the scenery. It was nice, but it wasn't that interesting.
We stopped at a cafe where I got some delicious (and semi-expensive) chocolates, and later at an inn for lunch. I got a nice shawl there, and some curry for food. It was a weird place, though, because they essentially didn't let you handle your own tray and would have waitresses stand in front of your tray and hold it and everything. It was confusing at first, I thought someone was taking my food away from me.
So, after that it was back the the hotel and Emily and I went shopping. She got a lot of gifts for her family bought, and I got a pimpin' shirt for my brother which everybody agrees he would have to be stupid not to like.
That was pretty much it. The concert was pretty good, but the altos still had the same problem with We are the Choir and fixed one note in Shoheen Sho and then messed up on a different one.
Dinner was good, too.
You know what happened in the night... anyways, yeah, someone's waiting behind me for the computer so I'm just finishing this up really quick. I'm not using mine because it's already all packed.
Okay. Yeah.
